Accounts and Office Manager

Description: 

The Accounts and Office Manager works out of the Advomatic office in New York City. The Office Manager coordinates with the CEO and COO to ensure Advomatic's office, HR, and billing operations run smoothly. This position is also responsible for management of Advomatic's books, and works with Advomatic's accountant to perform internal audits and file company taxes.

  • Maintain and manage Quickbooks bookkeeping system
  • Audit departmental billing systems, and reconcile against Quickbooks
  • Audit and update all client balances and billables
  • Manage payments of company bills, loans, and credit cards
  • Prepare cash-flow, P&L, and departmental financial reports for leadership
  • Oversee the invoicing of clients
  • Deposit checks and monitor receivables
  • Provide client communication regarding balance, payment, and invoices
  • Coordinate collections with collection company
  • Ensure state and local compliance forms are filed on time
  • Coordinate books with CPA for state, city, and local taxes
  • Manage and coordinate payroll and employee benefits
  • Manage and coordinate health insurance, insurance renewal, and research options
  • Maintain employee records, oversee employee in-processing and out-processing checklists
  • Maintain a list of business equipment
  • Office administration, supplies, filing, and coordination
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for staff
  • Process company mail and packages
  • Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications: 
  • BS in accounting, or 5 years bookkeeping experience, or significant equivalent experience
  • 2-3 years experience with QuickBooks or equivalent double entry accounting system
  • Job experience working for creative agency, consulting, or technical firm
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Self-starter with strong self-management skills: goal and results oriented
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities

Sales and Support Engineer

Description: 

The Sales and Support Engineer is the front line of the Cadre Web Hosting Services customer service team. This position is primarily responsible for providing email and phone support for hosting clients, coordinating the provisioning of new services for new and existing clients, and leveraging relationships to maximize sales opportunities and generate revenue.

  • Provide support and feedback to hosting clients
  • Implement infrastructure improvements as requested
  • Provide on-call emergency systems administration support as needed
  • Coordinate disaster recovery incidents with team leader
  • Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned
Qualifications: 
  • BS in computer science, or significant equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years of Linux systems administration experience
  • Self-starter with strong self-management skills: goal & results oriented
  • Experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting the LAMP stack
  • Experience using content management systems or other web publishing tools
  • Experience with open source software products
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Familiarity with xen, bind, nfs, subversion and git, heartbeat, zabbix, fai, pxe, mysql replication, awstats, zimbra and syslog-ng
  • Preference for candidates who have experience with working in clustered hosting environments
  • Preference for candidates who have experience with the Drupal content management system
