We may collect the following types of information:
In addition to the above, we may use the information we collect to:
If we wish to use this information in a manner different from one of the ways described herein, then we will ask for your consent
prior to such use.
Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies, but you can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, some Advomatic features and services may not function properly if your cookies are disabled.
Advomatic does not want to collect personal information from minors (children under 13 years of age, or any other age defined under applicable law). If we become aware that a minor is attempting to or has submitted Personal Information via this Site, we will notify the user that we may not accept his or her Personal Information. We will then delete any such Personal Information from our records.
Advomatic only shares personal information with other companies or individuals outside of Advomatic in the following limited circumstances:
We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data. These include internal reviews of our data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures. We encrypt financial information, such as credit card numbers, both in transmission and storage and we use appropriate encryption and physical security measures to guard against unauthorized access to systems where we store personal data. Advomatic processes personal information on our servers in the United States of America and in other countries. In some cases, we process personal information outside your own country.
We restrict access to personal information to Advomatic employees, contractors and agents who need to know that information in order to process it on our behalf. These individuals are bound by confidentiality obligations and may be subject to discipline, including termination and criminal prosecution, if they fail to meet these obligations.
Links and Third Party Web Sites
This Policy applies only to the Sites.
The Sites may include links to the web sites of both affiliated and non-affiliated entities (Other Sites), including access to content, products and services of such affiliated and non-affiliated entities. In some cases, these Other Sites may have the same (or a similar) look and feel as our Site and therefore may appear to be part of our Site. However, the URL of such sites will show that they are not part of our Site. We urge you to familiarize yourself with the individual privacy and other terms for each linked site prior to submitting any personal information.
Accessing and updating personal information
When you use Advomatic services, we make good faith efforts to provide you with access to your personal information on request and either to correct this data if it is inaccurate or to delete such data at your request if it is not otherwise required to be retained by law or for legitimate business purposes. We ask individual users to identify themselves and the information requested to be accessed, corrected or removed before processing such requests, and we may decline to process requests that are unreasonably repetitive or systematic, require disproportionate technical effort, jeopardize the privacy of others, or would be extremely impractical (for instance, requests concerning information residing on backup tapes), or for which access is not otherwise required. In any case where we provide information access and correction, we perform this service free of charge, except if doing so would require a disproportionate effort. Because of the way we maintain certain services, after you delete your information, residual copies may take a period of time before they are deleted from our active servers and may remain in our backup systems.
We occasionally may conduct surveys among users which request the provision of Personal Information such as name and email address, as well as Non-Personal information regarding your experience on our Site. You may be selected for participation in such surveys. Participation in these surveys and the corresponding submission of Personal Information are voluntary.
Your use of our Site is subject to and contingent upon your agreement with our Web Site Terms, which are hereby incorporated by reference. Except as described in this Policy, and subject to your choices, Advomatic will not use your personal information for any other purpose unless we first obtain your express authorization. Subject to the provisions contained in this Policy, you hereby consent to the collection, processing and transfer by Advomatic of your Personal Information for the purposes described under this Policy, including but not limited to the transfer of such Personal Information between Advomatic and its Service Providers and affiliates in accordance with this Policy. Your consent to our right to transfer Personal Information in accordance with this Policy includes consent to the transfer of your Personal Information to jurisdictions that may have different levels of privacy protection than that available to you under your local law.
