What is Click to Call?
Click to Call (or C2C for short) is a constituent outreach system that allows you to get your organization members involved in the day to day process of government, by allowing them to easily call their representatives, let their reps know how they feel about a bill, and then report back to you the results.
Say you have a pressing bill before congress that you want to campaign for. You send your constituents an email, bring them to our site, they enter their contact information, the C2C system then calls them, advises them what to say in a custom audio message recorded by you (or us if you'd like it professionally done) then connects them directly to their representative, without the end user ever having to dial a number. Your constituents then report back to you with the details.
How are minutes counted?
Usage is billed at the 'Call Time Rate', in both directions. For example, the system first places a call to the caller and plays the welcome message. The system then places a second call to the target and that time is accrued as well. While the two are connected, time is accrued for both the first and second call at the same time until the calls complete. Therefore, if you had a 30 second message, and the caller spoke with the target for 5 minutes, the call would be billed for a total of 10 minutes and 30 seconds. The average call is approximately 2 minutes.
How do I keep track of the results?
The C2C system keeps track for you, and has a whip count you can display on the call system homepage that shows the current totals of supporters in congress. Additionally, it collects all the data your constituents provide, which you can then download for your own use in a CSV file export.
Can I customize who the system calls?
Currently C2C allows you to call Governors, the White House, the Senate and Congress. You can narrow down the target list to as few or as many members of each group as you like. Also available are the State House and Senate of AZ, CA, CO, IL, MO, NC, NY, OH, OR, PA & TX.
What if I have a list of my own that I would like to have it call?
We are developing the ability to contact officials on the state level in more states, as well as reach out to the media. Currently, however, it does not allow you to reach out to other orgs. If you have a custom list you'd like to use, Contact Us and we'll see if we can accommodate you.
Does it integrate with any external web systems?
It currently is a standalone application and does not integrate with other systems. It does, however, allow you to export all your collected data into a CSV file for import into your system.
How long does it take to setup?
It generally can be setup in less than 24 hours. If you choose the white label option, it could take an additional business day.
Do you offer any discounts?
Yes, if you prepay for minutes you can get a discount. Discounts start at 10,000 minutes. Please contact us for more information.
Can I customize how the site looks? Can I embed it in my site?
Currently, the system allows you to upload your own header graphics, change the background color and the border color. Additionally, if you get the whitelisting option for an additional fee you can have the system show up as though it is at your domain. For example, http://call.yoursite.com rather than the regular http://tools.advomatic.com. See our pricing plans for details. You cannot, however, embed it in your current website template.
Do you offer professional recording services?
Yes, if you prefer to have a professional voice over artist record your audio introduction, our office manager, a professional voice over artist, will gladly record it for you. Her rate is dependent upon the size of the organization. Contact us for more information.
C2C currently doesn't allow me to X? Please add that feature!
C2C, currently in beta, is stable and working for all our clients. And we like it that way. We take every feature request under advisement, and if multiple people request the feature you are adding, we will do our best to bring that feature to the system. In the interim, please enjoy the features that are here.
