Joe 2006

When a staffer specializing in blogs and online communications for the Connecticut for Lieberman party campaign approached us to help with the hosting infrastructure for the Connecticut Senatorial race we couldn't help but be a little skeptical. The Nutmeg state is not known for its conservative roots; after all the Democrat Party had just nominated wack-job pinko liberal anti-troop terrorist appeaser Ned Lamont to represent them! But, after inquiring further, and learning Republican Joe Lieberman had switched to the pro-Lieberman party, the "Connecticut for Lieberman Party", we jumped at the opportunity. Advomatic believes that every self-serving politician deserves to be 'A Party of One' to represent their constituent.

Joe would prove to be one of the most challenging hosting clients Advomatic had ever taken on. The vicious and morally bankrupt liberal netroots blogosphere hacking community had Joe, and Advomatic, in its hollow frightening gaze. These cyber-miscreants would stop at nothing to bring Connecticut's burgeoning democracy to its knees. In their mind nothing is more contemptible than one man, standing all alone, with no one supporting him, battling to keep Connecticut's Federal power firmly in the den of Joe Lieberman's Connecticut mansion, Joe Lieberman's D.C. Townhouse, all under the proud banner of the time-honored "Connecticut for Lieberman Party."

Attack after attack brought the site to its knees, preventing tens of millions of dollars in online donation transactions from occurring. At one point, campaign staff even had to use their personal email to maintain critical communications. After moving the site seven times, shutting down services, changing the homepage to a billing notice in an attempt to confuse the hackers, and contacting the FBI in an attempt to curtail the attack eventually the election occurred, Joe came out victorious, and everyone lost interest.

Our crack Strategic Communications team helped Joe's temporarily troubled messaging. His state was firmly against the Iraq war which he had breathlessly cheered for and repeatedly voted for. Our cutting edge advice? Lie. For a few months, right before the election, "nobody want[ed] to end the war in Iraq as much as [Joe did]." It worked. Pro-war Joe put on an anti-war hat just in time to dupe his state. Now that Connecticut's power is safe again in Joementum's pocket, Lieberman's votes in D.C. have continued to perpetuate the Iraq occupation we so love. Advomatic and Joe Liberman, giving the middle finger to the "good" people of Connecticut, together.
