Content Delivery Services

The single biggest thing you can do to scale your website, and decrease page load times is to effectively use a Content Delivery Network.

The Advomatic CDN is a network of hundreds of servers located in geographically disparate locations. When a request comes in, any requests for static files that route through the CDN are directed to the closest geographically located server and served from the cache on that edge server.

Traditionally, utilizing a CDN involves manually combing through the code of your website to replace static url's with the cdn url. Not anymore. With apache's mod_cdn we can now offer a drop in solution that automatically rewrites your Drupal static url's to pull content from the CDN instead of your hosting platform. Other applications can be integrated with a minimum of development.

This provides a multitude of benefits:

  • When the end user loads content from the CDN they are downloading from a closer, less burdened machine, speeding up your pageloads dramatically
  • Traffic spikes on content being loaded from the CDN are an order of magnitude less severe. It is the difference between loading content from one, or a few servers, and loading content from hundreds of servers.
  • Reduce chances of bandwidth overage on your primary hardware.

Control Panel

Advomatic's CDN comes with a control panel enabling you to clear the cdn cache at will and view statistics on how the CDN is peforming for you.

Easy and affordable
