Jake is a web programmer living in Minneapolis, MN.

He learned how to write code accidentally when a housing cooperative he was living in needed a website. Not really understanding that there are companies that will provide hosting for you, Jake acquired an old computer and set up his own web, SVN, and email server before coding his first ever website in Drupal 4.6. That began a torrid love affair for all things Drupal that has not yet ended. He also likes to dabble in JavaScript, Ruby, and Objective-C.

When he's not writing code (which is, seriously, not very often), Jake enjoys reading nonfiction, trying to make the world a better place, cooking gluten-free Italian food, and hanging out with his partner and 2 kitties. He also plays drums, and is always looking for a band.
